Dr. Gijs Langevoort
Gijs is the founder and owner of LanCon. He is the director, administrator and seminar leader of the European Model of Sports seminars and a board member of several Dutch and international sport organizations. Dr. Langevoort earned his M.D. from the Free University of Amsterdam and a M.S. in Management for Organizations in Sports at the University of Lyon, France. He founded LanCon as a start to a second career. A retinal problem ended his successful career as an orthopedic surgeon with focus on sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. He was a Board member of the Dutch Center for Doping Control, member of the commission Top Sport of the Dutch Olympic Committee and board member of International and Olympic Affairs of the Royal Dutch Baseball Federation. He is board member elite sports in the Dutch Basketball Federation.
Ross Bartow
Picture of Ross Bartow Ross is faculty member of the University of Tampa Sport Management. With his 30 years of sport business experience he has managed or assisted with events in over 30 different sports including athletics at te Atlanta Olympic and Paralympic Games. He has been a featured speaker at sport business conferences in the USA, Japan, England and the Netherlands.
Sarah S. Zipp
Sarah has earned her M.S. in Sport Leadership-Sport Administration from the VCU Sports Center. Schmidt has worked in Division I athletics, professional sports (WNBA), and Dutch professional basketball and volleyball. She worked as director international programs for LanCon, presently she works at SUNY Cortland as a lecturer and Instructor coordinator in the Sport Management Department.
Aaron Zipp
Aaron earned his M.S. in Sport Administration from VCU. Contributed to marketing and promotional efforts at the Special Olympics, Virginia. Assisted in development of Dutch TopSport volleyball and basketball media in the Netherlands. Past Director of Marketing and Recruitment for LanCon, USA. Currently, serve as Instructor, Department International Coordinator, and Chair of the international Working Group at SUNY Cortland.
Jaume Massons
has earned M.S. in European Masters in Sports Organization Management - MEMOS from IOC (Lausanne, Switzerland) and M.S. in Management of Sport Organizations from URL - Universitat Blanquerna (Barcelona, Spain). He worked as operation manager's assistant on the World Swimming Championships in Barcelona 2003 a few time after He became a personal consultant of the sports minister of Panamá Republic. He has run as a director in several sport and fitness clubs in Catalonia. Currently, He is developing strategy and marketing consultancy for a firm in Barcelona. He is representing LanCon for south Europe.
