Accreditation
Usually participants acquire accreditation through their home institutions. Participants should contact their study advisors for that. LanCon offers the possibility to obtain credit hours by registrating through one of the partner institutions. For more information please contact us.
Though LanCon is a Dutch company, it works diligently to understandand and meet the needs of differing curricula in partner institutions. Some institutions choose to integrate the International Study Seminar into their degree program as a requirement and others as 4-6 credit-hours of professional or general electives. Also, many courses are delivered in a hybrid format using the International Study Seminar as a “living laboratory”. In this instance, collected data is applied to a 3-4 week online academic component upon return.
Additionally, students from anywhere in the world can transfer credit through 2 NASSM approved institutions, SUNY Cortland and the University of Tampa. Participants from multiple institutions can combine to form one travel group.
