Do you want the experience to work at a major International event? 
In the summer of 2016 the European Athletics Championships are held in the Netherlands.  During this event LanCon gives you the unique opportunity to work as an intern! You will get to know the various aspects of hosting and working at a major International event.

Interns will:
  • Work on the promotional team of the event. 
  • Work on the floor managing team. Your team task will be to organize and coordinate all the events that take place on the track or field.
  • Work as a player liaison: you will support the player in their daily needs and schedule. You are the link between the player and the organization. 
  • Work on the managing team of the training facilities. As part of the team you are responsible for the smooth operation of the training facilities.

 


 
 

 
Qualifications:
  • All candidates need to be currently enrolled at an accredited College or University.  Ideally, they will have an interest in Sport management or Hospitality.
Required skills & abilities:
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work as a team player, particularly to interact effectively
  • High-energy, friendly, hardworking, confident, with drive and initiative
  • Strong customer service orientation and presents a professional presence
  • Excellent time management and communication (oral & written) skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high pressure environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point
Ideal candidates:
  • Students who are enrolled in Sport Managment or Hospitality programs.
Cultural:
  • Visit the higlights of Amsterdam and the "Zaanse Schans" to see many Dutch windmills. Expierence Amsterdam by bike and visit the Anne Frank House
Lodging:
  • Hotel *** (Private room) 
Meals:
  • Breakfast every day, 10 lunches and 10 dinners are included.
Transportation:
  • Do what the locals do! Transport by bike and private transport from and to the airport (coach).
Guides:
  • Private tour leader and local guides included.
